late to work/FMLA might help

Posted by sleepyme on March 13, 2003 at 09:25:24:

I am currently trying to get approved for FMLA (Family
Medical Leave Act) due to the effects that N has on me. It is a Federal Law requireing employers give a qualifing employee up to 12 weeks a year of excused (unpaid) time off without any disipline action (all I am trying to get covered are a few tardies here and there due to falling asleep while driving to work). There are some strick guidelines to be eleigle for FMLA, but if any of you are
experiencing the same problem I am ,it may be worth your while to check into.

It doesn't seem that too many companys look at N as a serious health issue. We need to do what ever we can do to help ourselves get thru this....
