Hey there Henry. I assume you've read my response to the question you had on an earlier entry I made. I've also wanted the sleep study to make sure of whether there is any sleep apnea present or not. Especially, after my father was diagnosed moderate/severe OSA because he woke 54 times an hour. When I started with my new primary dr. I had asked for one on the basis that no one had done it previously to be sure it was narcolepsy now that it's a standard tool. He said no at the time citing that it would just verify that the narcolepsy is there and not change the treatment. Now I'm getting one because the symptoms have become worse again. Hope it helps me.
