Well, to be honest my diagnosis came by happenstance. My fiance has very bad sleep apnea, 30+ episodes a hour. (He is not my childrens father.) After months of nagging he finally went in. I went with him for support and filled out one of those questionairs they had and scored really high. So I made an appointment for a study. It was one of those two day affairs. I did not have any episodes of apnea. The naps were a different storey. On the average of five naps it only took me 3 minutes to fall asleep and 7 minutes to get to REM state. And I fell asleep each time.

Of the two children I have had tested so far one has obstructive sleep apnea and the other one just stops breathing for no apparent reason! The other two are going in for there sleep study Wednesday. I know that they both have apnea. They both snore.

I have seen N symptoms in my Father and Sister. I know that my other sister and brother have apnea. I have encouraged them to get it taken care of. To have there kids tested, but I have a kind of family where you just don't go to the doctor unless you're on your deathbed.

Thanks for your support
Everyone here is wonderful
