I have had my C act like that for years. I just didn't recongnise it as cataplexy though. Before my diagnosis, when I would suddenly drop something for no aparent reason I attributed it to nervouse ticks. The slurred speech was like being drunk without drinking. I don't know about the facial muscles I never really noticed it. I have often had to sit down when experience stronge emotions.

Kinda wierd the things that you write off as normal when you have no comparison, hugh?
