Hey! Well the issues I have are extreme daytime sleepiness...I would stuggle to stay awake at work, while I was driving, watching tv was hopeless....it really affected my entire life!! I have had no problems falling asleep at all....pretty much the moment that my head hits the pillow I am out and I sleep through the entire night. I find it hard to wake up in the morning (even with a full night sleep). I have very vivid and disturbing dreams that often leave me feeling "upset" the entire next day. I have had problems with short term memory loss and also with occasional mixing up of dreams and reality...not sure if something happened or if I dreamed it.

My impression from the doctor was that the no REM was what kept my diagnosis from being N and that it was possible that in the future if another was done that REM would show up but just that it did not in this study.
