Posted by Shadow on August 13, 2003 at 22:00:48:Hi there!
I have never managed to keep a regular nap schedule so far because of my job (no time for naps and nearly always problems with my employer and/or colleagues when having a sleep-attack...), but I'm sure it would help me a good deal and since I gonna change into private practice work in some weeks it will hopefully become easier to start with it. I know there are different ways to distribute naps throughout the day, depending on how severe the sleepiness is, how well the meds work and how the circumstances are. I will probably try taking a 15 to 30 min nap together with my lunch-break as a regular one. The problem is that often when I sleep at day-time I sleep for more than one hour and this wouldn't work as a regular nap. And I'm not sure whether one scheduled nap is sufficient. And I'm wondering how to schedule mini-naps since I often take them involuntarily when having an attack of sleepiness. I thought I would ask you about your experiences. What kind of nap-schedule works best for you? How do you schedule them?
Thanks for your input!
Ciao!
