I was just diagnosed with idiopathic hypersomnia within the last month. The doctor wanted to originally use Provigil but told me that it may interfer with my birth control pills. So I asked for something different and he prescribed Adderall. I take 20 mg twice a day with an option 10 mg in the late afternoon if I need it. I've done great on it! I would talk to your doctor about your complaints because there are other medicines out there that will work for you. Good luck!
