Experience applying or disability?

Hello everyone,
I have recently been denied (on appeal) my application for disability. This is through my work sponsored STD/LTD insurance plan (which falls under ERISA). I am getting ready to apply for Social Security (required by the STD/LTD insurance company).
Does anyone know of any case decision details or other helpful information. I have hired an attourney and am providing him with as much information as I can.
