I asked my doc about this and he said that it is normal. I have never been able to sleep well at night, I can sleep just fine durring the day. Sometimes, with a nice warm ray of sunshine I get the best most beautiful sleep and warm wonderful dreams. I guess part of it for some of us is just being on a different clock. I get a lot of homework done at night. I even can get some housework done if I am quiet *smiles* but then I drop off into the never never land of N and I am back up again as my sleepy self at 7 am, no alarm necessary. I dont get it either. If I had not had such a determinate MSLT I would question the diagnosis but I think falling asleep in under 5 every time and a whole lot of premature REM told the story pretty accurately. Never mind that pesky cataplexy.
