You are not alone, NarcOMatix.

I think the only way I can continue to perform well at work is because I am constantly busy. No time to sit, let alone sleep. I just rush home ASAP at the end of the day for a little pick-me-up. (A little 1/2 hr nap lets me actually accomplish something in the evenings...most of the time.)

I think we call it Mueslix, or granola here. Probably a good suggestion. I do PowerBars for Breakfast and whenever I miss a meal. It seems to me that when I concentrate on my body- taking vitamin supplements, eating several small-medium meals, drinking 6-8 glasses of water a day, etc. that my body is less demanding about naptime. It doesn't go away, but its not at that critical "I must sleep" point all the time.
I do just about anything that willhelp stave off the sandman.

Also I recommend...get on a sleep schedule now while you can, before the little one arrives. 'Cause it will be near impossible when you've got a baby in the house. Start now so you can monitor what works best. My sleep schedule consists of: Awake at 6:15 am, 1/2 nap between 2-5:00 pm, Bed by 11:00 pm.

I love the suggestion I got from this forum about getting up an hour earlier than you need to so you can go slower and even squeeze in a 10 min power nap.
