I beg to differ. Insomnia is a known side effect of Provigil. I only took 200 mgs in the morning, cut that to 100 mgs at the dr's insistance that my problems w/ Provigil side effect were just that I was over medicated on it. And still felt like I was getting no rest ever. Have never felt so exhausted in all my life. I stayed on it for 9 mos, believing what others had written regarding just needing to give it time to work.

I say if you have problems on it, don't let anyone talk you into staying on it. I've not known many who stayed on it and found it got any better.

Sleepygirlie,
Perhaps you wouldn't need the tranqs at night if it weren't for the Provigil?
