Provigil vs. Adderall XR

I've been on Provigil and developed horrendous head aches and migranes, so now I am off it and I only have my dosage of Ritalin for a few days, I am hoping my doc will write me Adderall XR due to all of the success stories I've read in these forums about it.. Any recommendations? :)
