Adderall Provigil Depoprevera

This forum is the best I've found on this topic. Thanks to everyone for the info. I have a couple questions.
I have been on Provigil for almost 10 months. It keeps me functioning, but I think I may be adjusting to it. I take 400mg/day.
I have been looking for alternatives to suggest to my doctor, and I am interested in Adderall. Right now, I am taking my Provigil and a 'cocktail' of Ephedra/Caffeine pills to keep me awake. I don't want to do this anymore. Medications usually don't effect me very strongly, so I'm not too concerned about the stimulant effect. I am concerned about Provigil and its effects on Depo-Prevera, I was never told this could be a problem. That alone makes me want to look for alternatives.
I am also curious about the weight loss effects, because as I have read time and time again from others, I feel like every part of me has just slowed down. No matter how well I eat and how much I workout, it is a struggle to maintain and an all-out war to lose weight. I describe it as a bear going into hibernation.
The stories I read here are the same ones I have in my head. Although not comforting to any of you, it does make me feel not alone, because you just can't describe this to anyone who doesn't have it. Any info on meds and dosages would be great. Thanks, Michele
