provigil and depression

Posted by bedouin on January 09, 2004 at 16:07:21:

has anyone experienced problems with provigil causing depression and apathy? my daughter has been taking provigil and prozac for about ten months now and initially she was doing wonderfully. lately however she has displayed alot of symptoms of depression-withdrawing from friends and family, lack of hygiene, poor school performance, etc.she just doesn't seem to care about much of anything anymore and seems to be walking around in a fog.i'm not sure if she's being over medicated or we just need to switch medications all together. i'm so overwhelmed by all of this. we were both diagnosed just about a year ago(my N is mild, her's is moderate). i just feel to exaughsted to even research as much as i feel i should be. provigil and adderall make me feel sick,so i'm presently not medicated and struggling. anyway does anyone kno anything about provigil and depression?
