ARRRGGHHHH! I am really getting tired of seeing that dr's are prescribing Provigil and Prozac together. They should NOT be taken together and have sent some PWN to the ER because they were vomiting incessently or other serious reactions. There is something about them being matabolized in the same organs or something. I've checked Cephalon's site before to see if they have such a warning in print. I think it is there but is so technical and Prozac is not mentioned by name; too much for most to see the problem. But your dr should know! If you call Cephalon, I'm told they will admit it.

The symptoms you describe in your daughter are in my opinion, all side effects of Provigil. I can relate to almost all from when I was on it and have seen others report the same. The way I sum it all up is that it was as if I was not in my body anymore and nothing really mattered. Mine was not depression, it was the Provigil and I don't think I have ever recovered from it--3 yrs later. Why not go w/ a more proven med?
