provigil not working......

I have just been dx with N, and I started on provigil over a week ago, and I cant feel any results. I was started on 100 mg every am, and that didnt work so I increased it to 200 mg every am. I felt a little bit better for about 2 days, then back to no effectivness. I called my MD, and he increased me to 200 mg every am, and 200 mg at lunch. Well guess what.... I started that today, and the only results I got was a severe headache. I have always had problems with bad headaches, and provigil seems to exacerbate them. Has anyone else had this problem? What are some other meds used for N? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
