My problem: I can't wake up. I sleep too much. I fall asleep too easily (in almost any circumstance at any time of day for any period of time). AND I work too much.

My awake routine: I work one job from 6am to 2:30 pm M-F and a second job from 3pm to 7pm Tues-Fri and 8am-4pm on Saturday (a grand total of about 65 hours per week). I go to the gym for 2 hours a day, 3 times a week. I also do freelance graphic art and illustration in what little freetime I have. Plus there's the usual life stuff of housekeeping and meals and running errands...

My sleep routine: I go to bed every night at 9pm. I fall asleep instantly (it doesn't have to be dark or quiet, in fact if i try to go out to a movie or concert, i'll fall asleep around 9 even in the middle of a new Jackie Chan movie, or in the middle of a Metallica concert or something). I sleep all night like a rock. Nothing disturbs me. And nothing wakes me in the morning. My first and second alarm clocks (right by the bed) go off at 3:45 and 4:15am, i sleep right through them. My third and fourth alarm clocks (across the room) go off at 4:30 and 4:45am, i either sleep right through all four of them blaring and waking up my neighbors and roommates, or i guess i turn them off and never realize it. I eventually wake up sometime between 5:30 and 6:00 (remember, i need to be at work at 6am) and rush out the door. On Sundays I sleep until 2 or 3 or even 6 in the afternoon. Sometimes I'm productive the rest of the day, other times i'll just nap all day, go to bed at 9, and STILL not wake up in the morning.

The test on this site said i'm narceleptic, but i'm skeptical of this because once i'm up i'm really awake and full of energy. but the second i get comfortable, i'm out like a light and i stay out.

Does anyone out there have any advice?
