Insomnia is often overlooked as one of the symptoms of N. I've told people that my most normal time of the day is often at night, meaning sometimes I am awake more when it is time to sleep than at any other time.

I now take Benadryl (just one capsule) about an hour before bedtime. I really take it for allergies, w/ the blessings of my dr, but the side effect of drowsiness is very good for me. It helps me to get a more restful night w/o waking up every hour or two. In the morning I usually awaken feeling like it is time to get up. I can tell the difference on the nights I don't take it.
