I began taking a small amt of Ritalin (10 mgs once daily) last spring. I remember posting your question back a few forums ago because I too had problems on it. I forget now just what except I thot it was causing gas. I don't think it upset or irritated my stomach as much as just caused indigestion--belching like a drunk old coot. I know it drastically increased my appetite (yes, the opposite effect expected). What I had decided when no one else reported having those problems on it, was that because I was eating more (after being underweight all my life), the indigestion was from the intake, not the med itself.

I use it very infrequently now because I have found that any of these meds just make me worse in the long run. The real problems of concern for me were the stumbling drunk walking, the slurred speech, and increased trance-like staring. It is still my med of choice if I have to take one.
