Device for in class

Posted by ak2skier on January 29, 2004 at 09:44:51:

Recently i was diagnosed with having sleep apnea and narcolepsy...found out because i was always sleeping through all of my classes. They put me on Provigil, but i still seem to sleep quite a bit in classes. I bought a device for when i'm driving that senses when my head tilts forward. When this happens it makes a loud noise to wake me right up. however, i was wondering if anyone knew of a device (like this or different) that would not make a loud noise to wake me up. Something that vibrates or something else. I've looked around quite a bit but haven't found anything. I've tried many things to stay awake in class, but very few are any help. Anything would be appreciated. Thanks
