Group Coverage

Posted by ERK1210 on February 24, 2004 at 11:11:29:

My hours were cut back at work and they are removing my benefits. I am covered under COBRA for 90 days. I am close to getting a new job with with insurance starting possibly before the 90 days of COBRA, will I have any problems being accepted with narcolepsy? If this doesn't work out and my COBRA runs out, I will have problems for sure, won't I?

I know a little about HIPAA and from what I read I have to be accepted into another group policy regardless of my medial conditions and history. Is this correct?
