THEY WILL NOT GIVE ME INSURANCE COV

Posted by justsleepy on February 26, 2004 at 03:06:59:

I have been trying to get Health Ins. for over a year. They turn me down. I know it is because of the N. diag. What can I do? I have N. and am Hypothyroid. Also, I can not take the provigil. It makes me nervous and my shoulder muscles hurt really bad. I have tried twice, about 9 months apart. I wish now I had not gone for the sleep study. I live in a state and and area that does not understand this disorder nor do they want to. I have decided for now that I will just live w/o meds. I am fortunate at this time I do not have to work. Any suggestions about the insurance prob would be appreciated.
By the way, after the study the rated me as mild to moderate and I would like to know if over time the N gets worse? This forum has been a real blessing to me. Thanks!
