Have you considered diet? A guy in one of my ed classes had 4 children and one was ADD-he had been on meds for years and they finally went to a nutitionist who took him off of anything white(rice, flour, sugar)-according to him this controlled his sons problems with out the use of meds. Another aquaintance of mine found out her add/adhd child was allergic to food coloring-if he avoided it his add/adhd was controlled without meds. I tried doing nutrition counseling with N sad to say it didn't work and I had to get on meds. But might be something to look into.
