I also take Provigil (400mg daily) and I have since the the drug research studies started a number of years ago. I was one of the lucky ones who received the maximum dose. I take the weekends off occasionally. For one I like to feel normally without the dry mouth and I also like to take a few naps! I'm in school now and during quarter breaks I take the whole week or two off. Yes, I'm extremely tired but it helps me because after taking it for awhile I begin to not feel the effects. If you do this however, don't take the full dose when you go back on it...my husband goes crazy! I can't seem to shutup:)
