I know thatProvigil has an "amphetimine-like" effect on the bidy even though it is not classified as one. Check to see if Provigil does what Adderall and Ritalin do which slows blood flow to the brain. This over a few months WILL cause short term memory loss. Add and Rit do not include it in their side effects but do your research on the web and look for physicians who are against these drugs and THEY will inform you of the true side effects and tell you why this will happen. Good luck to you. I too have short term memory loss but it is from ritilanSR.
