What kind of diet do you have?

I've noticed that a lot of different foods "make me sleepy". If I eat a lot of eggs meat and other protein sources at once, it weighs down on me. If I drink a lot of orange juice I get exhausted. Carbs don't seem to do anything for me. (This is all very unscientific, there could be other factors I'm not considering.)

Is there anyone out there who knows a little something about nutrition? What foods give you that extra kick in your step? What should we be eating to give us an edge?

I generally eat very well with lots of protein and carbs, fat and cholesterol vary. I am not overweight and in fact have an almost overactive motabolism. I can't gain a lb no matter how hard I try through eating. I eat my vegetables, fruits, meats, breads, etc regularly. But perhaps certain foods are making me more tired than I should be? Or could I be focussing on something that will help me feel better?

Thanks for any opinion on this. Jer
