2nd Sleep Study/MSLT Ordered w/Meds

Today, my doctor ordered another overnight sleep study/MSLT while on my meds because I have not had any luck staying awake even taking 9ml of Xyrem twice a night. It takes about 1 1/2 hours (sometimes as much as 2 hours) each night for the first dose to kick in. Then I get about
1 1/2 hrs to 2 hours a night of sleep on the first dose. On the second dose, it takes about 30 minutes to go back to sleep and I sleep about 3 1/2 hours, but wake up as soon as the 4 hours have passed. I am usually sooo tired and sleepy that I roll over and take my Concerta 54mg and go back to sleep. Usually, I sleep on and off all day long and then start all over again at night.

I think the test is going to show that I am stuck in the dreaming mode all night which is pretty much what the first one showed. I am excited and nervous about this new test. Maybe there will be some kind of answers about what is going on with me.
