I was diag w/ N, RLS, and PLMD about 4 months ago and am still coping with all of the info. I tried to get as much info about N from every source possible because I am my dr's only patient w/ N. He too is getting more educated.

I too tried Provigil, but didn't feel liked it worked. Then tried Ritalin SR, but didn't like the coming down. Now on reg Ritalin 3-4 times a day (20-40mg) as needed for what ever my schedule is and take a nap if I can. This seems to work best for me. It's all about finding a treatment that you can live with and doing alot of your own research. Hearing what works for others is very beneficial too so you know you are not alone and feeling like the only person w/ N.
