I haven't started on the Provigil yet. I've just got my heart problem, atrial flutter, under control with meds. Chest pains were tightness in chest going into neck and jaw lasting a few minutes. I'm not too hot on starting Provigil but my sleep doc wants me to start next month. I had terrible problems with violent behavior with cylert and ritalin and don't want to go through that again. I started on Provigil a few years back at 100mg/day and it did nothing. So I just dropped it after a week. I know that this time he'll use a higher dose. I have IH not N. If the drug gives me my life back that is great. If it just improves a couple of hours a day it won't be worth the cost. I guess I won't know without trying. The best price I can find is $270 for 45 200 mg tablets through my HMO. Oh well. Whidbey
