well, i can't say what other's experience, but oddly enough i was at my best pregnant. Even before i knew i was pregnant (it was an oops), within a week or two i suddenly had more energy...slept better and could get up in the morning. My roommate and I both couldn't believe the sudden change and had no idea what caused it. I actually had what most would call a difficult pregnancy in the last few months but it was the best i'd felt in years. I didn't know i had N then and wasn't on meds.
retrspectively, we suspect that i felt so good because my N may be due to immune attack and the immune system in suppressed during pregnancy. don't know how i'd feel now, years later, since my N is worse. If there's been complete destruction of the hypocretin receptors, I don't think it would have the same effect. I might have just been lucky timing for me. It was nice the first year at home with the baby. Even though it was tiring, it helped alot napping whenever he did. but he also has major sleep disorders and napped excessively too.
Hope all goes well for you.
