Going through old forums I noticed this quote from you Sleepkitty:

"I believe that God has provided me w/ unique abilities because of N and I put them to use daily"

and I would like to ask you what you mean with these abilities and how you put them to use?

I am also a bornagain christian, and I have been stuggling with the question am I to ask God to heal my narcholepsy or should I see it as something that He has allowed to happen. And if he has some purpose behind it. I have accepted it myself but often my friends suggest that we'd pray that it would go away. I don't know if it is lack of faith or just sertainity that I am to live with it.

So if you read this, can you maybe explain how you view your sicness and what you ment with putting the abilities into use?
