The first time I took provigil[1/2 of 200 mg], my first question was why hasn't my physician prescribed this for me before. I was actually cleaning up my desk as the day came to a close, something I hadn't done in years[you are right-my desk was quite a mess.]
Saturday morning I took the entire 200 mg pill and passed out for a couple of hours after I'd started my day. I felt normal but I couldn't quite 'get it together' and stayed awake for longer than I planned because I didn't get to sleep until 6 a.m. Sunday morning.
Monday took half in a.m. and 1/2 @ noon which became my routine. I've noticed a differnce in my walk from time to time an almost casual walk and I always walked fast.
Week 3 and I'm beginning to have a headache and by thursday it's an unbearable sinus headache effecting the left side but at least today I can breathe because I'd increased the dosage back to one 200 mg tablet in a.m. and today I went back to 1/2 in a.m. and 1/2 @ noon.
I had pizza for lunch and by 2 p.m., I was fast asleep and had to take 5 mg of ritalin to stay awake.
I recommend taking one table on monday and the rest of the week - take Ritalin.
