Howdydoo & questions

Howdy
just recieved the results from some hearing tests , other than a slight loss of hearing in one ear.. all is normal .

That leaves me to wonder if my hearing problems are related to having Narcolepsy/Cataplexy , and if other Narcoleptics may have similar symptoms ? Basically , during conversations or watching tv , movies , and the like, I have problems distinguishing individual words spoken in a sentence . Seems if I concentrate on just hearing the words " as spoken" it helps , but then I quickly get behind concerning the subject . Needless to mention this can lead to frustration and alot of "yes you did" and " no I didn't" 's ...lol.

Another question, how does one convince their partner that it's not that you don't want to sleep in the same bed , it's because it's so difficult to be there when your wide awake every two ( 2 ) hours or so and wish only to not disturb them by getting in and out of bed so often during the night ?

life is good
