Xyrem reality please!

Posted by prop on August 03, 2005 at 11:22:03:

I have read many of the posts about xyrem, they are all good, but lets get right down to the nitty-gritty. Is xyrem worth taking, and what side effects do any of you have? My physician wants me to take xyrem, but I am not sure if I want to. I have already been a trial and error guinea pig for many medicines. I have all 4 forms of N and C is bad for me usually daily. Effexor and dexedrine work pretty good for me, but still can't sleep good.
I tend to believe most sleeping meds a person can build a tolerance for quickly, and I don't like the idea of being forced to sleep with a med, but if it really works I may try it.
Anyone have experience or knowledge about xyrem would really be great, thanks.
