Oh and one more thing I would want you to understand. Why do you think narcoleptics have these chat forums? Because very little can be done on a medical stand point for narcoleptics. Basucally we were diagnosed, were given pills and told to go home! Evey so often we go back to see our sleep specialist, nuerologists, etc... to have a new prescription. After that we are left in the dark! If this wasn't the situation then we would have no need for these narcolepsy forums because our doctors would be providing all the support, information and treatment we needed.

So the only way to combat narcolepsy is for all you non-narcoleptics, as well as narcoleptics, to make finacial donations towards narcolepsy research! Until we know more about this disease, like many other uncurable or untreatable illness, we need more research in order to find either a cure or a "100%" effective medication for narcolepsy.
