Bizarre Theory?

Posted by billp46 on September 15, 2005 at 12:39:02:

I was diagnoised with sleep apnia and later narco following 3 sleep studies and a daytime study done June through August last year. I'm currently on 100mg of Provigil 2x per day. But my pattern is that sleep attacks seem to end in the late afternoon and I have no problems staying awake 'till nidnight or even later. I should note that beyond the daytime sleepiness and automatic behavior, my symptoms are mild or non-existant (some HH, a few incidences that might or might not be sleep paraysis and cataplexia). So I wonder, in cases like mine, is more that our circadian cycles are just reversed? That is would we function better if our work/play time was at night and we slept all day? I had an uncle that did that once he retired from regular work and has thrived on it for many years.
