Hope this response is not too late. I just got on the list yesterday.

I was disgnosed with sleep apnia last year. After using a CPAP machine for a month or so I was still have the symptoms you discribe. So I had a nighttime/daytime sleep tests. Turns out I have both.

In doing research, I found out that it's not that unusual to have both sleep apnia and narcolepsy. The bottom line is that your daytime sleepiness could just be because of the sleep apnia or it could be narcolepsy or both!

If you're still following this list please do a follow up to let us know how you're doing.
