Hallucinations putting me to sleep.

This forum has really opened my eyes. Sorry for the pun. I thought I was alone in these experiences until now. I want to know if anybody else experiences this. I believe I am Narc but also at the same time I'm always exhausted, my mind wants to keep me up. Without even knowing I had anything, I developed this technique which will put me to 'sleep' or at least a lucid dream. I stare out in the the darkness with my eyes closed, eventually patterns will appear until they develope into shapes and eventually faces or whatever which morph into different objects. This puts me in a state of mind where I'm at least not awake. I usually then go into a lucid dream and I'm so aware that I 'test' it by trying to go through a wall or something. Sometimes the wall will push me back and I'm back in consiousness but mostly I can go through and now I'm free to do what I'd including a lot of flying around and sex (im still a guy in these dreams).. Comments?
