whatever it really is that you are experiencing--it is what many people would consider astral travel and out-of-body experiences. I do this often myself and have used this in my own personal spiritual practices. From what I understand of any possible dangers--you are ok as long as you can get back into your body. I find it very relaxing to my body--but I have woken up feeling mentally strained and tired.
