Provigil Dosage

What sort of doses are UK patients taking please?
I've been taking 100mg at 8am and again at 10am for 4 years (2003). I pop another half a tablet (50mg) three or four times a week.
Like all of us it seems, I want more alertness but if i take more than 250mg a day I get and can feel High Blood Pressure (I have had mini strokes before 2003) and over a few days get a bit High/Manic.
I also have Sleep Apnoea.
