Hi, I think your best bet is to have a sleep study done. I put it off for years, because its fairly expensive (I've had 2 sleep studies and a MSLT in the last two months, and even with insurance, its outrageous).
I used to be a flag person on a construction site. This was about 20 years ago, and I used to fall asleep standing there leaning on the stop sign. The truck drivers were amazed and said they'd never seen anybody sleep while standing in the middle of traffic. LOL.

I work as a nurse, and when I sit down to eat supper, or get report, I have to be very careful to stay awake. It just doesn't look good to fall asleep when you're hearing about your patients for the night, lol.

If you think its going to be N or even an apnea situation, it would be good to get it checked out. There are good treatments for apnea, and hopefully some good meds for N.
