narcolepsy frrom turkey

Posted by martinmyster on February 28, 2007 at 02:00:46:

hi everbody,

ý am from turkey and I have just been diagnosed with N without C. Is there anybody from turkey reading these forums.I need to get in touch with people with N. I was prescribed provigil and taking 100 mg a day. ý would like to say that it works with exercise especially Plates(sounds funny?).First days it was really hard but after a while my body and muscles got used to it.I feel more better now. I know I have to fight with N and I should be stronger and fitter in order to knock it down. The hardest thing ý have experienced is the denial of my friends and my parents. Nobody believes it first so I still try to inform them as much as I can. they think ý am lazy and want to hide my laziness behind such illnesses. I had quit my job due allergy to dust because my office was wall to wall carpet. ý am also on immunotherapy treatment for 10 months. My allergy and N is getting well but I need to rearrange my life according to new conditions. But it is better to know what to do instead of suffering from illnesses which you do not know. Sorry for my poor English. Hope to hear from you
