too much deep sleep!?

Posted by Elijah27 on March 20, 2007 at 05:29:59:

I'm stumped. I wake up exhausted every morning, and yet according to my sleep study my sleep is if anything unusually deep!

Everything that I read says that all you need to feel rested is slow wave sleep, so how is this possible?

stage 1: 0%
stage 2: 36%
stage 3+4: 38% (slow wave sleep)
paradoxical sleep: 25%

No organic disorder, no thyroid or adrenal problem.
