Brain exhaustion and waking up

Posted by DominoPhreak on March 20, 2007 at 10:29:43:

What part of your brain has the most trouble waking up in the morning?

When I wake up, (only because I have to take my Daughter to school, and eventually get to work), it feels like my brain has been working out all day. Specifically, it feels like the area behind my forehead, and it just does't want to get up, because it feels like it's just finished running a marathon, and is very sluggish. My body feels fine, it's just my gray matter that is still very groggy. I get a good 7-8 hours each night, and am up by 7:00a, so I know it's not our of sheer exhaustion

When others have a hard time waking up, is it a part of your brain that is keeping you down, or some other part of your body?

I've got a PSG and MSLT scheduled in a few weeks, and have the usual "Do I have N, or am I just lazy?" questions going through my head constantly. Just thought I'd check in w/ the rest of the folks to see if they have similar sensations.
