before I got diagnosed w/sleep apnea had the same problem with going to sleep, my dr said my body would fight sleep becuz of the struggle I would go thru (stopping breathing). also have narcolepsy and you can have insomnia along with this, believe it or not. You should get a sleep study. You sound very sleepy and sleep deprived. Hope things get better for you
