I take both Xyrem and Provigil, also. I began taking 4.5 ml twice and gradually built it up to 9ml two times per night. My doctor wanted me to increase the dose by .5ml every two weeks, but he gave me lead way. I began the Xyrem in Dec. '06 and it took me about a year to get to the 9ml dose. I only get about 6 hours of sleep each night. But, using the CPAP, helps me get more.
