heya!

1. ive only had an overnight sleep study & a mlst, so i cant help you with any other test experiences.

2. the gene hladqb1*0602 is found in narcoleptics. it is not however found in all narcoleptics. in my reading, it seemed this specific gene was found to appear only in narcoleptics who experience cataplexy & not found in narcoleptics who do not. so gene testing would confirm a diagnosis for a narc/cataplexy patient, but not for a noncataplexy/narc patient. since you have cataplexy, this could be a good choice for you.

hope everything goes well =)
