Hi Jessica,

I have been watching this message board as I too beleive that I am narcoleptic. I have a sleep study on the 20th of this month to hopefully get some more detailed answers. I also dont have any real signs of cataplexy...something like what you mentioned, but not as serous as some of the stuff I have read/heard about. From what the sleep Dr. I saw said not all people with narcolepsy have catabplxy and also that sometimes it doeset start until 5-10 years after narcolepsy starts. Something to look forward to! I have massive sleep atacks, I fall asleep driving, working, reading, just about anything...for years everyone has said I was just a tired mother...I never thought that was true, but didnt even know that there could be more to it. Its scary to think all along it has been narcolepsy and I wasent even aware enough to realize it.

Good luck to you in your journey to find answers. Its a long road. :)
-Kristen
