Is there a possible way to appeal to your insurance company to cover narcolepsy?

And also, I just want to make sure: They do not cover the condition of narcolepsy or they don't cover the medications you are taking for narcolepsy?

As for what to do with your newly-found time, here's a challenging suggestion. Try promoting awareness to those who have influence on your insurance coverage. Make appeals, write letters to legislature, to sympathetic doctors who have some influence.

Sure, it's easier said than done. But start by asking around for ideas. Who can I contact to start the ball rolling? Who can connect me with someone who will act on my behalf? That is a bit ambitious, I know. At the same time, making headway on something like that can be an extremely exciting and fulfilling feeling.
