I know nothing about concerta and zoloft, but I might guess that their "build-up time" in the body might be longer than ritalin or provigil. With those medications, one month really may be necessary to get it out of your system.

How would your doctor feel about an "interm" medication? Something that can keep you functional for the next two weeks while you're waiting.

Here would be my suggestion (and try to avoid the phone-tag limbo with your doctor): Speak with him ASAP about how bad your condition is right now. Ask him if he would consider writing you a 10-14 day prescription for something (I'm thinking ritalin or provigil) so you can function.

With these medications, you could stop one week before your test and not mess up it's results. Heck, my last MSLT I only cut off my meds 24 hours before. I was still fine (i.e. the results confirmed narcolepsy like it should have).

Try to bug your doctor and get his opinion ASAP.
